DescriptionIncludes:
a) Various documents relating to the Capel Curing road (accounts, subscriptions etc.). Includes letter about the route of the road from a Mr Ellis, who also disputes the fact that new accommodation he has build for his worker is 'shabby' as Lord Penrhyn had alleged.
b) A copy of letter temp no PFA/8/2 in far better condition, along with minutes from the meetings Mr. Wright held at the copper mines.
c) Various correspondences from Benjamin Wyatt discussing quarry, estate, tenants, weirs, slate tax etc.
d) Poem - "Lines written by Hugh Leycester Esq on the Penrhyn Slate Quarries 1806"
e) Statement by David Williams relating to enclosure of common land within the Hundred of Uchaf, 11 Feb 1820
f) Documents and accounts relating to new Tal-y-bont road, building lodges at Tal-y-bont and Llandygai and sloop molly 1819-23.
g) Document showing estates purchased by Lord Penrhyn (Richard Pennant) since 1785, 1802
h) Terms of lease of slate quarries in Llanllechid parish, October 1818

l) Proposal from Griffith Jones to construct a new mill on the banks of the Ogwen as 'Melin Hen' suffers from a lack of water during the summer months, 1803
m) Small booklet containing hand written account of the history of Penrhyn (with particular focus of the Griffith family) along with two poems in the Welsh language (one by Lewis Mon and one by Gutto'r Glyn both dated 1450 and referring to William Griffith).
n) 'Fees of Lord Penrhyn's Patent', c. 1783
o) Statement of proposal of Mr Roberts to pay the same to Richard Pennant as the Crown for calcium and lead rights.
p) Copies of correspondence between J Wyatt and W Roberts D. A. regarding enclosure of common land near Bangor, December 1819- January 1820
q) Correspondence between James Greenfield and G.H. Dawkins-Pennant regarding an anonymous letter containing allegations/information which Mr Pennant considers libellous.
