TitleCorrespondence regarding the transfer of the Nevis and St Kitts to the Hon. Wellington Cotton
Description(i) Letter from Manning and Anderdon to the First Viscount Combermere (25 July 1862). Acknowledging the Viscount's letter regarding transferring his estate at Nevis and St. Kitts to his son, the Hon. Wellington Cotton (afterwards second Viscount, 1865-1891) Sentiments of firm's grateful remembrance, followed by two or three very pertinent queries about certain interest o nmortgages and responsibility for balance of accounts with the firm of Manning.
(ii) Letters from R.B. Govey to the Hon. W. Cotton promising to make inquiries into the condition of the Nevis estate; also extract from a letter received via Govey from a Nevis correspondent (27 November 1862)
(iii) Letter from the offices of the Cotton Supply Association at Manchester to the Hon. W. Cotton (25 October 1862); Cotton gin despatched from Bolton; 1 cwt. of New Orleans seed.
