DisgrifiadThese manors had in the will of Frances Bulkeley (d.1688) been conveyed to two gentlemen of the county, and by them “conveyed and assured" to Lord Bulkeley. The Hon. Henry Bulkeley was his uncle, a courtier of high rank, and well in the favour of the two Stuart Kings. Accompanying this assignment is a further indenture of 5 Jan.,1698-9
