TeitlLast will and testament of Elizabeth vch David ap Hoell ap Rees of Llanddyfnan
DisgrifiadBequeaths Y Fagwyr to her natural mother Jane vch Humphrey Griffith for and during the term of her natural life, paying fourpence a year at the feast of All Saints "unto my heires"; after Jane vch H.'s death, it is to go to William Thomas ap Humphrey, cousin of the testator. The witnesses were William ap David Lloyd of Llysdulas [i.e., Bodafon Ucha, an ancestor far removed of Morrisiaid Môn - Pedigrees, 149, 348]; Evan Williams, clerk; William Jones ["Johnes"], clerk and curate of Llanddyfnan. E.W. could not be rector, for that office was held at this time by one of the Bulkeleys, Sir Richard being patron of the living. On 30 Decr. of the same year, Lowry her elder sister made her will: she also leased Fagwyr to her mother for her natural life; after her decease, she bequeathed all her lands in Llanddyfnan, &c. to Sir Richard Bulkeley. No a second will (even two copies) of Elizabeth has come to light (19 Sept., 1593) which also names Sir Richard as ultimate heir. What has happened to the cousin William Thomas ap Humphrey Griffith and that within 30 days?
