Disgrifiadby which Jasper Price [vicar of Llanidan since 1579] grants to Sir Richard Bulkeley two water-mills called Melin Hely, with their appurtenances at Traeth Tysilio between Tyddyn y Caeau and the church of Tysilio [Llandysilio] and all the weirs and "fishings" at Porthaethwy, commote Tindaethwy, [and also a rood of land at Bryn y Crogwydd, commote of Menai, "uppon the which lande some tyme a wyndmylle stood buylte"] for a consideration of £60 and the rents due to the Queen's Majesty. This interest had been assigned on 23 March, 1588-9, by the Queen's lessees to Rowland Meredith of Bodowyr; Jasper Price, in other words Jasper ap Rhys ap Maredudd, was nephew to Rowland Meredith, and had evidently succeeded to this interest at his death. It should be clearly understood that Bryn Crogwydd and the windmill, though included in the assignment of 1589, were not a part of this transaction of 1602.
Annexed is the original assignment of 1589
