TitleIndenture tripartite by which Rowland Bulkeley of Porthamel arranges for a common recovery with double voucher upon all his lands, a procedure in pursuance of a previous indenture of 1 Novr., 1650 (which has not survived)
Description This very obscure doct. is lighted up on the dorse by the name of one of the witnesses - who signs as Michael Roberts, D.D. - an Anglesey man who had been promoted by the Puritan authorities to be Principal of Jesus College, Oxford, and who was to have an exceedingly stormy career there. At this time he was evidently trying to enjoy his Long Vacation in his native island. With this document are two exemplifications of the recovery at Great Sessions (11 Aug.,1651)
