| Disgrifiad | by which a considerable part of the Creuddyn inheritance was sold by Robert, second Lord Bulkeley, to William Williams of Conway for £1,266.6.8.; previous and preliminary transaction at Great Sessions cited, under date 8 Sept.,1656, when a common recovery with treble voucher was suffered upon the aforesaid lands. William W. of Conway was intimately connected with the Bulkeley family, in that he had married Catherine, daughter of Robert Coetmor of Llanllechid, while Thomas, Viscount Bulkeley had married her sister Blanche. This is made clear on p.341 of the Pedigrees, but on p.277 [coetmor], Catherine is down as the wife of Hugh Davies of Caerhun. W.W. was a widower when he married her, was she a widow when she married him?
