| Description | by John ap Robert ap Meredydd and William ap David ap Gwilym [rector of Llanfairfechan from 1513 to 1558] upon matters of variance between Rowland Bulkeley of Beaumaris on the one part, William ap Rinallt ap Meredydd and his mother Gwenllian vch Griffith ap Hulkyn on the other, over lands in Llanfairfechan which sometime wore the lands of David ap Tudur ap Angharat vch Ieuan ap Hoell Velen. Bonds in obligation in the sum of £40 were signed by one party to the other (16 January 1556) to observe the award, which was to be delivered in writing before Palm Sunday then next ensuing. The terms were: William ap Rinallt and his mother were to suffer R.B. to occupy peaceably Tyddyn Gwilym pkyn [ap Hwlcyn?] in Dwygyfylchi, also Dryll y llong, and cause a deed of release in parchment to be delivered to him, a release in fee simple; R.B. on the other hand, is to give a clear release in law to W. ap R. and his mother upon Tyddyn y Llan, Cae Cuhelyn Ucha, Cae Cuhelyn Isa, a parcel of land in Cefnfaes, and another lying in Maes y Llan; Bulkeley to withdraw all suits of law against W. ap R. “affore the justice of Northwalles" |
