| Disgrifiad | of Morris Wynn of Gwydir [father of Sir John Wynn] upon matters in dispute between Robert ap Richard ap Robert of Llanfairfechan on the one part, and Harry Salusbury of Conway and Margaret Griffith, late wife of Richard ap Robert ap William of Llanfair, deceased, more especially concerning lands held in jointure by M.G. by the gift of Robert ap William. After "rype examinacion" of the case put by both sides, Wynn awards that M.G. is to hold during her natural life Llwyn Gogan, Maes y Dentur, Blaen y Nant and other parcels of land; M.G. to surrender to R. ap R. the moiety or one-half of certain Crown lands in Llanfairfechan called Tir Bleddyn Rooth, together with all deeds and writings relating to the same "that the said Margaret hath now in her custodie or may happen hearafter to have or come by"; R. ap R. to deliver up all goods which he has levied by distress upon certain specified tenants of land now awarded to M.G. There had been a former effort to settle these (and other) differences between the parties by John ap Ieuan, clericus, and William Holland, gentleman; Wynn declares that nothing in his award will be prejudicial to the terms of that judgement, except that he varies it to the extent of allowing the use of Siambar Wen to R. ap R. |
