Sir Richard in this "replication" combats R. ap R.'s contention that he (R. ap R.) had children to whom he hoped to "assure" some of these interests by saying that R. ap R. “entended and allwayes purposed and yeat Doth purpose to Disinherit his oldest sonne for his diverse notorious Crymes and offences".
