| Disgrifiad | between Robert ap Richard of Conway and Sir Richard Bulkeley: R. ap R. covenants and agrees to levy a fine with proclamations at the next ensuing Great Sessions of Carnarvonshire upon his capital messuage and all his lands and hereditaments to the use and behoof of Sir Richard, on condition that he, R. ap R., can enjoy and use them for the term of his natural life; the lands of R. ap R. are described as "lyinge and beinge upon the East and Northeast side of the River of Llanvair beginnings neare bulch y ddayfaen nd soe running att Cambernaint and following the course as yt runneth down to the sea, and from the said River so bounded to a hill called Penmaen mawr" - not a description that would suit the exact taste of a modern lawyer! In consideration for all this, Sir Richard grants a lease to R. ap R. upon a messuage called Kidlisye, another called Tyddyn dan y ffordd, a mill thereupon, so much of Tir Blethin Rooth (sic) as is in the tenure of R. ap R., all in the parish of Llanfairfechan, and also upon Cae Syr Rees and other parcels of land near the town of Conway, also now (or were) in the occupation of Robert ap Richard; term, 40 years, if.
