The Beaumaris property came to the family through the marriage of W.W.S.' father with Ann, the daughter of Ambrose Lewis, a Beaumaris attorney.
The Bodowen estate was the property of Lord Dinorben. The Bulkeley family of Beaumaris owned the Baron Hill estate; Drudwy Mill was the property of the Sparrows of Red Hill. |
