| Disgrifiad | Testator bequeaths his old Welsh Bible published in 1620 and the silver medal which he received at Ruthin "for the Translation of the Deserted Village by Goldsmith" to his son Richard Griffith. He bequeaths £140, the silver medal which he received at Aberffraw and Adam Clarke's Commentaries on the Bible and the Biblical Companion to his second son Thomas William Griffith. He leaves all his clock and bell hanging tools and bell materials and the silver medal presented to him at Llannerchymedd Eisteddfod to David Lloyd Griffith. He leaves £130 to his eldest daughter Elizabeth Lloyd Davies of 77 Everton Terrace, Liverpool; the silver medal presented to him in the Denbigh Eisteddfod in 1824 to her eldest son Meyric Lloyd Davies; £140 to his daughter Ellen Hughes; the medal that he won at Pwllheli to her son David Morley Hughes; £140 each to his daughters Sarah Anne Chambers and Harriet Wynne Williams and all his books "Poetic and Prose" to his grandson Richard Percival Chambers along with the medal which was presented to him at the London Eisteddfod. He leaves the remainder of his real and personal estate to his four daughters "share and share alike". He appoints his son in law the Rev Hugh Hughes and his son Thomas William Griffith as his executors and devises to them all the estates vested in him as trustee and mortgagee "subject to the equities affecting the same" |
