Copy counterpart lease for 17 years of the mines, seams and veins of coal, slack, ironstone, fire-clay and other minerals underneath the pieces of land situate in the township of Brymbo in the parish of Wrexham, co. Denbigh, called Cae Glas, but without power to interfere with the surface of such lands.

Rent: a royalty of £25 for every acre of coal where the seam is 3 feet or more thick; £15 per acre if the seam is less than 3 feet thick, with royalties in proportion for intermediate measures. Also a royalty of 6d per ton in respect of iron, ironstone, and all other minerals. Also a wayleave of 1s per ton on all coal and other minerals carried through the mines. All such royalties and wayleaves to be made up to a sum of £10 at the end of the year if they do not already amount to so much.
