| AdminHistory | Mrs Elizabeth Morgan was the wife of Henry Morgan of Henblas, son of a Chancellor of Bangor, grandson of Bishop Robert Morgan, nephew to Bishop Humphrey Humphreys ('Pedigrees', 122). Mrs Morgan herself was the daughter of Dr John Davies, rector of Kingsland in Herefordshire, a scion of the Gwysanay family. She had a brother named Sneyd, who also eventually became rector of Kingsland, and filled some very important ecclesiastical offices in the diocese of Lichfield (Venn : Alumni Cantab. i, 16).
