Rhif Cyf AmgHENB/130-131
TeitlLease, with bond of obligation, by Andrew Brereton to David Prichard of Llandwrog, tailor
DisgrifiadLease upon a quillet called Buarth Cerrig in Llanwnda to build a small house thereon with thatched roof; rights of egress and regress defined, also the right of Brereton to secure water from the river through the Buarth. A William Brereton is first among the witnesses, but signs in a far clumsier manner than Andrew. We are told also that Andrew Brereton at the time lived at Ty Hên in Llanwnda, and not always as a peaceful citizen, if the charges of Richard Poole, excise officer, against him are true (Caernarfonshire Quarter Sessions records, sub 1713). The excise officer was uncle to Rev. Anthony Poole of HENB/42, who in turn was closely related to the Trefeilir family.
