Disgrifiad | For these Knights, see Pedigrees, 146, 165, 213. One assignment was to the Rev. Anthony Poole of Cae Nest, a very natural proceeding, as Poole was married to Hugh Lewis's sister Margaret, one of the "seven pretty Peggies" of this period in the counties of Anglesey and Caernarfonshire. (Six documents.)
Note: This Tyddyn Llwydyn (or Llwydwyn in Llanbeblig is to be carefully distinguished from Tyddyn Llwydyn near Bangor that figures in the Penrhyn Papers, from Tyddyn Llwydyn in the parish of Bodfean, and from Ty'nllwydan by Aberffraw in Anglesey. Hugh Lewis became heir of the Llanbeblig messuage by the death of his uncle, another Hugh Lewis, without issue (Pedigrees, 123). |
