| Disgrifiad | Glyn Davies has told him that IW regards Tre'r' Ceiri as being the Caer Dathyl of the Mabinogion. The fort of Tre'r' Ceiri is a later structure than the enclosure on the headland. The earthen enclosure is identifiable with Leinster, the dry-walling structures with Connaught. Also mentions Caer Carreg y Fran, Dinas Dinorwig and Dinlle - other ancient military enclosures. |
