The more controversial matters are raised in the second part where she has tried to argue that stories of the Mabinogi type belonged in origin to a class of tales about ancestor deities and early kings.
Thinks Geoffrey of Monmouth preserves a better version of the Maximus story. Shall be glad to know where he does not agree.
