Assignment of the unexpired term of a lease of the capital messuages of Vaerdreffe and Kynmell.
Recites Indenture of 20 July 1633 whereby Piers Holland, late of the Vaerdreffe, esq., leased to Sir Edward Lloyd, James Lloyd, John Lloyd and Dorothy Holland, the said messuages for 60 years in trust for the payment of certain debts. Consideration, £1000.
Recites also an Indenture Tripartite of 20 Oct. 1647 between the said Sir Edward Lloyd, James Lloyd, John Lloyd, Dorothy Holland, executrix of David Holland, esq., William Price of Rhiwlas, co. Merioneth, esq., and Mary, his wife, and Mary Lloyd, sister of the said Sir Edward Lloyd of the first part, the said John Carter of the second part, and the said Thomas Carter and William Carter, clerk, of the third part, whereby the said Sir Edward Lloyd, James Lloyd, John Lloyd and Dorothy Lloyd, with the consent of the said William Price and Mary, his wife, for the consideration of £4,500, of which £3,500 are still unpaid, as well as for the said lease of 60 years, assigned the said messuages to the said Thomas Carter and William Carter of London, clerk, in trust of the said John Carter. The said William Carter, merchant, has now undertaken the payment of the said £3,500, part of the consideration of making the first recited Indenture. |
