Montgomery, Kt., James Lloyd, esq., John Lloyd, gent, two of the brothers of the said Sir Edward Lloyd, and Mary Lloyd, sister of the said Sir Edward Lloyd, for the payment of £2000 by John Carter of Conway, co. Caernarvon, gent, by the direction of the said William Price and James Lloyd, which said sum was secured by an Indenture Tripartite dated 20 October, 1647, and was, together with the sum of £500 formerly paid by the said John Carter to the said William Price as part of the sum of £4,500 mentioned in another Indenture dated 19 October, 1647, as the purchase money for lands and tenements conveyed to the said John Carter. |
