Counterpart defeasance for the payment of £4240 by the said T.C. in consideration of the surrender to him of the capital messuages and demesnes of Vaerdreffe and Kinmel with other lands in Botegwall, Bodorryn, Kegidog, alias St. George, Wickwer and Meriadog, of which the Vaerdreffe lands were assigned by an Indenture dated 28 May 1677 by the said T.C. to the said William Whitmore for the residue of a term of 60 years granted 20 July 1633, and the Kinmell property conveyed by another deed of 28 May 1677 to the said Humphrey Weld and Sir John Robinson, for securing the payment by Carter of the sum of £4000 and interest. |
