| Disgrifiad | Papers relating to the settlement of the estate of Ann agriffiths of Cefnamlwch, co. Caernarvon [wife of John Griffith (ob.1739) and mother of William Griffith]. Their presence amongst the Kinmel archives is explained by the fact that chancellor Robert Lewis of LLysdulas, father-in-law of the Rev. Edward Hughes, acted as executor of William Bodvel of Madryn who was the executor of Ann Griffiths. The papers include several bills of costs relative to an action in Chancery brought by Ann against her son William for non-payment of a jointure out of the Cefnamlwch estate, a copy of her will, creditors' bills, etc. |
