Teitl | Appointment and release of certain estates in the county of Anglesey in the parishes of Llanfeirian, Llangadwaladr, etc., and particular allotments out of the Malltraeth and Corsddaugan marshes, by Sir John Owen of Orielton in Pembrokeshire (and Bodeon in Anglesey) to William Lewis Hughes, esq., eldest son and heir-at-law of the Rev. Edward Hughes of Kinmel Park, deceased |
Disgrifiad | Consideration, £14,500 With this is a deed of covenant for the production of title deeds and articles of agreement (9 July 1814) for the above purchase between Sir John Owen and the Rev. Edward Hughes (the latter died about 14 days before these articles were consolidated into the indenture of June 15 1815). It is to be noted that the articles postulated a consideration of £15,000, £500 more than were actualy paid under the indenture, and for which a proof of receipt appears on the dorse. |
