Gift of a messuage, tenement and lands in the township of Scrogennan in the lordship of the bishop, dean and chapter of Bangor in co. Denbigh, and seven closes belonging thereto, the first of which is called ynys y Tylluan, in breadth from a place called ynys y Geynir to a place called yr ynys Dreyniogk, and in length from the lands late of Gruffith ap Llewelin ap Tuder to the lands of Rees ap David ap Howell; the second called yr Erowe vawr lies in a place called Dol scrogennan; the third, in Dol scrogennan, lies in length from a place called Kay hoova dduy to the lands of Howell ap Tuder ap Conus, and in breadth between the lands late of Howell ap David Lloid; the fourth, called koetgay Phylipp, lies there near a place called y Wayn goch; the fifth, called y kay gwenith, lies near the house late of William ap Grono ap Llewelin the sixth lies in a place there called Phythion, in length from a place called y Cae glas to the late lands of Gruffith Lloid ap Ievan ap David Vaughan, and in breadth from the lands of Howell ap Llewelin ap Rees, deceased, to the lands late of Howell ap Tuder ap Conus; and the seventh parcel is part of a meadow there late in the tenure of John ap David ap Conus, late father of 1., and lies there from a place called ynys y Sarneye to the late lands of the said Gruffith ap Llewelin to a place called y kay brwyn; and three closes in Scrogennan, one of which is called yr ynys Dreyniog and lies in length from the said ynys y Tylluan to the late lands of the said Rees ap David ap Howell, and in breadth from a place called ynys y Rhwynvey to the late lands of David ap Ievan ap Rees; the second, called y pelanney Dvon, lies in length from the said ynys Dreinioge to a meadow called gweirglodd y pelanney, and in breadth from the late lands of the said Gruffith ap Llewelin ap Tuder to the late lands of the said David ap Ievan ap Rees; and the third close is part and moiety of the said meadow called gweirglodd y pelanney which extends from the said pelanney Dvon to a place called Pwll yrowe, and in breadth from the late lands of the said Gruffith ap Llewelin ap Rees called y Belan Rydynock to the late lands of the said Gruffith ap Llewelin ap Tuder; together with an annuity of 10d. sterling issuing out of the last three closes mentioned.
