Disgrifiad
David ap William gives assurance of his undoubtedly rightful claim to the property and gives Hugh Hughes the first chance of buying it outright, "givinge so muche therefore as an othere will give". If the £20 is repaid to Hugh Hughes on the 23rd January next at the house of William Jordan "next to the signe of the mayden hearte right against the ... connduyt within the paryshe of Sainte Sepulchers", the aforesaid lease to be utterly void.
The transaction was completed in London, William Jordan being one of the witnesses. A Thomas Jones was the second; Thomas Andrews of Lincoln's Inn another (it was he who drew up the document)
