Disgrifiad | Is informed that the Trustees intend to make the embankment this Summer, suggest that Stanley order his steward to carry sand and timber from Cymmyran in boats to land on his estate bordering on Cleiviog Sand. The writer's brother has a flat-bottomed boat which he could land for this purpose. If the trustees proceed with the embankment they could of course stop this navigation and Stanley could then bring forward an action for damages, or if he chose to bring the matter before the House of Commons, evidence of actual navigation would carry much weight. The whole Act is a contrivance of Mr. Panton and Tom Williams and the rest of the Trustees have been made their dupes and kept in ignorance of the object of the Act. |
