Since his head servant died and he has not the convenience of sending the money to Chester or Salop on his own cost and charges, he does not think it reasonable that he should give his bill for £297.7.6 and to make himself liable to answer this money to Madam Barlow in London. Moreover, as he does not deal in either cattle, sheep or hogs. Mrs. Owen must excuse him. |
