TeitlLetter from Owen Meyrick to William Owen at Penrhos
DisgrifiadNephew Lloyd and the writer have a double pleasure in their having carried the cause at Salop, since Mr. Hugh Lloyd acquaints the writer how Owen joined with the town in the rejoicing on that occasion, as well as ordered his tenant to Salop to tender his testimony. If his Lordship tries the affair agin in Anglesey and obtains a verdict there, it should not deject the writer's and Owen's friend for they will take care that he shall get no benefit by it, since his pretence to the common is grounded on so poor a foundation as appeared at Salop.
