TeitlLetter from William Owen at Wexford to his brother John Owen of Penrhos
DisgrifiadNothing so much troubles him as that he cannot hear from his brother. There is no news at Wexford save that Mr Owen Ffloyd, being come to those parts for his pastime and recreation, it pleased God to visit him with the purple fever, of which he lay a fortnight and then died, and was nobly interred in Wexford. The writer visited him whilst he was sensible and Owen may assure his (O.F.'s) father that he made his will at London, which he confirmed at Wexford, Will give his brother a full account of Ffloyd's sickness and funeral in his next letter.
[William Owen was the Rector of Wexford, Ireland]
