TeitlLetter from William Owen at Wexford to his brother, John Owen at Penrhos
DisgrifiadWill write to his friend in Dublin to know the rates usually charged for lodging and dieting near the College. The Provost of the College diead lately and it is uncertain who will succeed him. Is afraid that £20 a year will be too mean a subsistence for their cousin, unless they can both by hiss own industry and the intercession of friends, obtain a scholarship for him. The writer's brother Thomas has been of late as strange to him as to John Owen himself, for although he wrote to him several times, his letters remain unaswered. However, when Pierce comes over, the writer will solicit him in his behalf. If he does not come to Dublin when cousin Pierce comes over, he will write to those whowill befriend him and see him settled
