TeitlLetter from William Owen at Wexford to his brother, John Owen of Penrhos
DisgrifiadHopes his sister received the picture and his brother the gallypot of ointment which he ordered to be sent over after his return home. How the limner performed his part, he is no competent judge of yet; the writer is apt to believe he is not inferior in skill to him who drew the writer's cousins. Has sent enclosed two [? receipts], one for the prevention of the gout and the other deafness; others have received benefit from them. Has some school books of his own and of cousin Bean's, which he would willingly send over to his godson, William Stephens, if he had an acocunt from his master of those that are fittest for him. If brother Henry's son be thoroughly cured, he could contribute something to buy him clothes to put him in a condition to got to sea
