TeitlLetter from James Evans at Gray's Inn to John Owen of Penrhos
DisgrifiadOwen's son and Mr. Bold are both very well. The writer does not find that the change of air has any influence upon them - they are hitherto very free from the distemper that Owen fears. They are provided with combs, etc. and the writer is sure they will make use of them. It was with great difficulty that he got them to lodge with Mr Maidwells, and as it happens it is very well they are not both in the same chamber "for now they have not an opportunity to use their Mother Tongue". They have each of them a strong winter suit with hats and other necessaries. Is heartily sorry for the hard fate of Owen's nephew. Hopes the villain that did it will be exemplarily punished for it. It was as barbarous a thing as ever the writer heard to kill him so often and that without provocation.
