TeitlLetter from R. Thomas to John Owen of Penrhos
DisgrifiadDear Jacke'. Happening to walk out with Sir Roger and Lady Mostyn in Gray's Inn Walks on Sunday last out of Owen's brother William's chamber window, he found Owen's hand to assure him of the greatest concern he values in these parts, to wit, Owen's health and rememberance of the writer. Thanks Owen for his civility and kindness towards the writer's friend Mr Atkinson. There is little news other than the King does what he can to hasten the fleet's departure for Portugal. "The burning of their damm'd Covenant Stomacks a little the rigid Presbyterian, but thanks be to God their Interest is at most in Ashes as well as their holy league. The Convocation hath acted little yet, wanting power for Authority, because as yet they have no Commission".
"Dear Jack This poore fellow, R. Tho."
