TitleCopy letter from Richard Pennant Grosvenor Square to Mr Shickle
DescriptionHopes that he is recovered from fever. His father [John Pennant] eats less and is weaker. These are bad times to buy more negroes. The French and Spaniards intend to attack Jamaica. "I hope the negroes and cattle are all well, and should the crops prove plentyfull, that they wont suffer by too much work. Indeed the quantity of sugar made, is more than our ships will take of - that is, more than 900, or 1000 Hog Hds [hogshead]"
