PG/95
Teitl
Depositions of witnesses on the part and behalf of John ap Rees ap William, plaintiff, taken at Llanddyfnan... before Owen Thomas ap Hoell, gent., by virtue of an order of Commision from one of Her Majesty's Justices of Assize
Disgrifiad
The question at variance was the common of Cors Ddwyffos and its user, whether all the inhabitants had equal rights, whether John ap John Owen had any particular privileges.
Witnesses examined: William ap David Lloyd; Richard Williams; David ap Robert ap Meredith; John Griffith; Rowland ap Hugh ap Ieuan ap Rees; Thomas ap Hoell ap Thomas; Richard ap David ap Morgan. W. ap D. Lloyd seems to have obeyed the pious injunctions of the umpire of 1588, as he now gives evidence in favour of his opponent J. ap R.
