TitleApplications for farms and for renewal of tenancies
DescriptionThe case of Trefor Isa, Llansadwrn, occupies much of C.H. Evans' attention in 1884 (3151, 3160, 3164-31750. Nos. 3147 to 3150 concern the working of Gallt y Llan Slate Quarry in Llanberis, in which a London stone merchant shows some interest. A metter briefly touched upon in 3182 is the partition of lands in Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll under the Enclosure Commissioners. 1859 finds Plas Newydd in the tenancy of Lady Margaret Willoughby de Broke, sister of Sir Hugh Williams of Bodelwyddan, and the whole of the correspondence for this year related to a dispute between her and F.A. Legg over the repair of the park wall, the revision of the inventory and other matters connected with the premises.
