Disgrifiad | Letter from Thomas Harrison to Lord Uxbridge relative to the "cursed Bridge Business". Wishes that Uxbridge would not think it of so much consequence as the writer is apprehensive he does. Suggests his Lordship should confer with Sir John Stanley and Mr Bayly, and having considered the arguments for and against the scheme, that they draw up a memorandum to the effect that having fully considered the matter they are of opinion that the erection of a bridge across the Menai cannot be effected so as to answer the purpose desired, and that therefore the idea should be dropped |
