Discussed are the findings and proposals of the McNair Report, its implications for the education system in Wales, the re-naming of the college and the establishment of the training Colleges. Also discussed are the war effort and the Blackout arrangements, electricity, the planning of the erection of new buildings and facilities for teaching and domestic use, the progress of work and completion of certain areas, the financial expenditure and cost, and the maintenance and repairs of the grounds. Teaching and domestic staff matters include teaching, appointments and transfers, wages, agreements and the official recognition of teachers by the universities in May 1947. Student issues include admissions and lettings, education, the curriculum and general conduct.
