AdminHistoryIn 1725, Ann Prytherch, a direct descendant of Ifan ap Einion of Collwyn and co-heiress of the Tregayan estate married the Rev. Richard Edmunds. Their daughter and heiress, Margaret, in turn married Robert Lloyd of Gwynnus in Lleyn, Caernarfonshire and had issue. Their third son Robert Lloyd of Tregayan and Gesail Gyfarch was Vice-Admiral of the White, Justice of the Peace, Deputy Lieutenant. of Anglesey, and J.P. of Caernarfonshire. He was also High Sheriff for the former county in 1820 and for the latter in 1790. Born in 1766 he married first Elizabeth Charlotte, and by her had an only daughter, Margaret Hooper. His second marriage was to Ellen, daughter of Thomas Roberts surgeon of Bangor. Margaret Hooper Lloyd of Tregayan married in 1811 Captain Thomas Parry Jones Parry R.N. of Llwyn Onn, co. Denbigh, J.P. and Deputy Lieutenant. She died in 1858, and was succeeded by her eldest son, Robert Lloyd Jones Parry of Aberdunant, co. Caernarfon, J.P. and D.L., Barrister-at-Law, M.A. In 1846 he married Mary Isabella the only daughter of Edwin Owen Snow of Lache Hall, Cheshire. He died in 1870 leaving issue, the eldest son being Thomas Edward John, who assumed the name Lloyd in 1871, in lieu of his patronymic, on inheriting the property of his great-grandfather.
