TeitlLetters to and from G.W.Griffith [brother to William Griffith and brother-in-law to Mrs John Matthews, Aberystwyth]
DisgrifiadHe seems to have been a young man of excellent character, of great pluck, but of very poor health. From these letters, he had been for some time at Chester (Letter 7), Dublin, where he made a manful fight for better shop conditions (Letter 4), and Brecon (Letter 8). He died early in 1841 (Letter 12). Letter 7 is a gossipy account of affairs in Chester in 1831 - especially about the Methodist cause there.
