Description	Many cards appear to be a record of the arrival of individuals in Beaumaris or their exit or removal from Beaumaris to another address. Cards have been stamped by the National Registration Office.

AdminHistory	The National Registration Act resulted in the introduction of identity cards as a way of recording accurate data about the population. The records created are a valuable source of information for genealogists since no census was undertaken in 1941. The Act expired on 22 May 1952.
