DescriptionLong and exhaustive document, dated 10 March, 1608-9, in which Sir Richard Bulkeley expressed his considered judgment on the devolution of his lands in Cheshire, Anglesey and Caernarvonshire, with due regard to the interests of his eldest son Richard, the children of the aforesaid Richard by Anne Wilford, and the claims of Thomas Bulkeley, Sir Richard's second son. Reference to the deed of disanulment (1 June,1603) and to the interim reconveyance to Richard Ingraham [Ingram] and William Price on 1 March, 1608-9. The present document of 10 March, either in the text or on the dorse, bears the names practically all parties interested in the Bulkeley inheritance, some by blood, some by the form of marriage-settlements - relatives of Lady Mary Bulkeley, Sir Richard's second wife [the Burghs of Lincolnshire]; Sir Richard's two brothers, John of Cremlyn and Daniel of Treban Meyrick; Sir Edwin Sandys, husband of his sister Catherine; and Sir Thomas Wilford, grandfather of the younger Bulkeleys on the mother's side
