DescriptionExemplification of Letters Patent under the great seal of England confirming a grant in perpetuity of a tenement with appurtenances commonly called Pertreleys in Whatcrofte in the county of Chester formerly belonging to the monastery of Norton and lately in the tenure and occupation of one Rowland Bulkeley or his executors, etc., to Richard Bulkeley, knight, of Beaumaris, in consideration of a sum of £36 paid to the Treasurer of the Court of Augmentations to be held in free socage of the Manor of Woodstock in Oxfordshire for an annual rent of 40/- payable at Michaelmas, (Seal and miniature in good condition)
