TitleExemplification of an inquest held at Beaumaris, before William Griffith, Esq., Judge of the Court of the Admiralty, and Thomas Wynne, Coroner of that Court, in the said borough, on the body of Robert Footman, alias Griffith, who was mortally wounded by one Griffith Matthew, alias Porter, on the Castle Green at Beaumaris.
DescriptionJury find said Griffith not guilty of wilful murder, on the grounds that he killed said Robert in self defence only, the said Robert having previously assaulted and sorely hurt him with a stick
