Title	Release by Sir William Herbert of St. Julians, co. Monmouth [who had married Jane, one of the co-heiresses of Edward Griffith of Penrhyn] to Sir Richard Bulkeley of the moiety of "a certayne lande lyeinge in a longe narrow sleeve or valley leadinge from the river of Menaye and haven of Bewmarres unto the crosse hedge that devideth the said lande from the said Sir Richards landes at the west side of the mill damme of Havott Wen", and on the north side adjoining the woods of Cerrig Gwyddel - in all about 12 acres.
Description	Seisin was delayed, for some reason, till 16 March, 1592-3. Annexed is a release of the self same property to Sir Richard by Sir Henry Bagnall of Plas Newydd (14 January, 1590-91). Herbert and Bagnall's father had each married a co-heiress of Edward Griffith of Penrhyn
