Very naturally, the witnesses included William Merricke, Precentor of the Cathedral; Hugh Burches, one of the prebendaries; Robert Sherman, one of the vicars-choral and rector of Llansadwrn in Anglesey; and John Brickdall, vicar of Conway [since 1573].
