DescriptionIn which one "partie" consists of the elder Pierce Lloyd of Lligwy [who was really Pirs ap Dafydd ap Rhys ap Llywelyn], William Lloyd his son, and Jane vch Dafydd ap Rhys his sister, who had married William Griffith of Neuadd Coedana, now deceased. They make a lease of Plas Grono in Llanbedr [Goch], once the land of John Wynn and later in the tenure of the aforesaid W.G., to Richard Cheadle, of Beaumaris, one of the most industrious and ubiquitous of the Bulkeley agents, for 18 years. The draftsman, and Cheadle behind him, is very careful to see that the lease will not be jeopardised by any claim or title from the direction of Pierce Lloyd's mother, Ann Stanley, whose first husband was of the house of Llynon-Presaddfed
