| Description | It is evident that Rowland Bulkeley could prove that he had bought the lands in dispute from Nicholas ap David ap Gwilym after the decease of Eve [Eva] vch Rees, mother of Nicholas, grandmother to David, Rees and Thomas. The arbitrators declared that of the tenements in dispute, R.B. was to enjoy and occupy henceforth the land in Pentraeth in the holding of the wife of Ithel ap Thomas; also, Tyddyn y Bryn Hirion in Bodafon; also, Tyddyn y Llyn in Amlwch; Thomas ap David Lloyd to sign and seal a deed in fee simple to R.B. upon Tyddyn y Llyn (doct. 1281). They award too that R.B. is to withdraw his writ of assize against the brothers, give up all claim to any lands not referred to in this award that were part of the dower of Eve vch Rees, and is not to take any action over the land of Hugh ap David ap Gwilym, brother of Nicholas |
