DescriptionThis is only another proof of the desire of Sir Edward Herbert [the first Lord Herbert of Chirbury] and his wife to part with their Anglesey possessions; the lands were Lady Mary's as daughter and heir of Sir William Herbert of St. Julian's in Monmouth, he in turn having married one of the three co-heiresses of Edward Griffith of Penrhyn.
